Now Hiring: Summer Camp Counselor with Performance Opportunity

Seeking Creative Camp Counselors for Summer Camp at The Media Theatre (18 years or older) - $400 per week

Summer camp runs from June 15th - August 28th in two week sessions Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Availability for the full summer is not required. Looking for a responsible and reliable candidate to maintain safety and care for campers while assisting instructors. Counselors should have a general knowledge of Musical Theatre. Counselors are expected to be active participants in the camp day and should expect to be standing, singing, jumping and dancing. Ideal candidates have strong problem-solving skills and can lead a room of up to 30 students ages 8-15. Camp Counselors would be expected to lead theatre games, warm-ups and supervise daily activities like: before-care, lunch, pick-up and after-care. Additionally, camp staff will have the opportunity to perform in a full-scale musical on The Media Theatre’s stage during the summer. Camp showcases are the final Friday of each session from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM. Camp will occur at Media Theatre 104 East State Street, Media, PA 19063

Camp #1: Once Upon a Stage (JUNE 15 - 26)

Camp #2: Finding Nemo Kids (JUNE 29 - JULY 10)

Camp #3: Frozen Kids (JULY 13 - 24)

Camp #4: Musicals that Make ‘Em Laugh (JULY 27 - AUG 7)

Camp #5: Winnie the Pooh Kids (AUG 10 - 21)

Camp #6: Movie Musicals (AUG 24 - 28)
