DAY CAMPS 

Back by popular demand. Take advantage of a day off from school to create a Play in a Day! 2 sessions offered on January 18th and February 15th.

Starting with an original concept, the group, under the direction of teaching artists, will create a truly original play that will culminate in a performance-ready show. Students will be divided by age. The performance will be filmed and sent to parents. Each Play-in-a-Day is as unique as the participants. Your students will hone their imagination and collaboration skills to create a remarkable performance. For ages 7-14

Play In A Day Camp

  • Camp drop-off is 10:00 AM. Camp pick-up is 4:00 PM.

    Camp will be held at The Media Theatre. 104 E State St Media, PA 19063

    Extended care is not offered for day camps.

  • Scholarships for Camp Media Theatre are available for eligible participants. We’re happy to offer a limited number of scholarships; however, they are not guaranteed. To be considered, please complete the following scholarship FORMand submit it to education@mediatheatre.org.

    *PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, the application MUST be submitted PRIOR to registration for camp. We cannot accept applications submitted after you have already registered and paid for camp.

 SUMMER CAMP

Performance Camps (8 -15 years) In two weeks, audition for, rehearse and perform a musical! All Performance Camps culminate in a 30-minute musical!

Concert Camps(6 -12 years) Learn three songs, three dances and acting scenes which all revolve around the camp's theme! All concert camps culminate in a final concert performance!

  • Camp drop-off is 9:30–10:00 AM. Camp pick-up is 3:30–4:00 PM.

    Extended care is available for an additional fee.

    Before Care & After Care hours are 9:00–9:30 AM and 4:00–4:30 PM.

    Before/After Care is offered at an additional $150 for two week camps & $75 for one week camps. Must be purchased for full length of camp.

    Campers must be registered in advance to attend before or after care.

    Please note that no formal instruction takes place outside regular camp hours. Campers attending before or after care should bring activities to work on independently.
