Dear Media Theatre Patron,

Five years ago, Mr. Peter Mariano bequeathed a portion of his estate to the Media Theatre to create a scholarship fund that has provided tuition for students in need throughout the year-long programming at the theatre. As this fund comes to a close, it is our hope to increase the reach of this scholarship to effect as many students as it can, with your help.

Though matching funds from the Mariano Scholarship Fund, we hope to create 20 scholarships for students in Camp Media Theatre and 5 scholarships for students in Jesus Christ Superstar this summer. Each gift of $275 matches the Mariano fund to provide for one student’s full tuition for any of the 5 summer sessions of Camp Media Theatre, while a gift of $475 will provide full tuition for 5 Teen Camp students.

In this tough economic time, more and more children are unable to attend a session of summer camp. The Mariano Matching Fund will help assist students who need financial assistance to experience this unique theatre camp held at Delaware County's only professional music theatre.

Individual donors will be recognized in each Camp Media Theatre and Jesus Christ Superstar performance with inclusion in each program, as well as on the Media Theatre’s website, and in a press-release at the end of the summer.
